Brands

Much of my work operates under distinct names, and creative personas, that reflect the range of disciplines I work in. Each service brand represents a focused practice. Some are public, while others remain under aliases or in limited release. This separation gives me creative freedom and precise presentations.

Here I share both my service brands, representing client-facing and professional work, and my product brands, which define the tools and systems that power my projects.

In addition to my own brands, I also maintain several custodial projects — sites and archives I’ve developed and continue to manage as a caretaker and principal developer. These are included here for completeness and legacy stewardship.

Midnight Citylights

Midnight Citylight's logo trademark.

Midnight Citylights is my personal software development studio — a name I operate under as a principal software engineer and independent developer. I’m locked in, programming right on the metal.

I've published proprietary full-scale applications used by millions worldwide. In parallel, I maintain hundreds of public software packages across multiple languages, including the Friends Atomic Canonical (Python + Node.js), Lydio, and inventor of the all mighty FileZord. Each has earned its place as a modern standard and a representation of development excellence.

  • Music Scoring

In the future, I plan to add a new portfolio for music. I primarily do original soundtracks but it's all tied to anonymous work. I intend to produce new pieces specifically for showing here soon. These days I work almost exclusively in DAWs, though I still write melodies on guitar.

Product Brands

Lydio

Lydio's mascot

Lydio is a programmatic HTML framework for generating structured, semantic markup through clean, composable code. It transforms front-end development into a precise, declarative workflow — ideal for projects that value clarity, modularity, and design intent. Used across all my sites, Lydio defines how I build, organize, and style content at the atomic level. I use it's brand as a trademark of quality and associate my websites with it.

Marle

Marle is a lightweight markup format I created for writing long-form content with embedded structure — images, captions, metadata, and custom tags — all within a human-readable text file. It bridges creative writing and data design, allowing essays, documentation, and archives to be stored and parsed seamlessly. Marle is used across my projects to power blogs, journals, and catalog entries with precision and consistency.

DeepFrame

  • Server Infrastructure

DeepFrame is my proprietary server framework that powers most of my websites. It’s a modular toolkit of middleware, telemetry, and pluggable components — designed for rapid deployment of fully featured, production-grade sites with minimal code. Built for efficiency and maintainability, it integrates seamlessly with Lydio and Marle, forming the backbone of my entire web platform.

Super Miko: Enchanted Getaways

Super Miko's lettermark brand.
  • A comic and digital franchise in development

Super Miko is an experienced pilot, steward, mechanic, and hospitality specialist. She owns her own airplane, flight school, and travel agency. Her adventures combine lighthearted fun with imaginative world-building — and her powers? Let’s just say she doesn’t need a plane to fly. With a Supercharged Boba Latte in paw, she can take to the skies.

Project: Kingdom of Flowers

Emblem and trademark for Project Kingdom of Flowers.
  • Art Direction, Writing, & Narrative Systems Development

Kingdom of Flowers is the codename for my current narrative project — a high-fidelity story experience exploring themes of duty, imperialism, and devotion. Set in an imagined past, seen through the regal lens of a triumph, with the decadence of consumerism, progress, and hierarchy. It represents the fusion of all my disciplines — 3D modeling, art, rigging, writing, and development — distilled into a focused, form.

Though presented under an alias, it remains one of my most ambitious artistic undertakings: a complete, short-form experience crafted with the precision and visual polish of a feature production.
