Lorem Ipsum is a traditional placeholder text used by designers for over half a century. It’s derived from scrambled Latin and has no real meaning. Its purpose is purely visual: to fill a layout so you can see how real text will look.

Its widespread use is also practical — people recognize it as placeholder text, preventing confusion about whether a draft layout is final. Using Lorem Ipsum is both a tradition and a clear signal of professional workflow.
How to use Lorem Ipsum
Copy and paste the Lorem Ipsum into your content wherever you want place holder text. Paste it many times back to back if you need to fill in a large area like an essay.
Eastern Placeholders
When dealing with eastern languages I have used these placeholder texts in place of lorem ipsum. They are not the same passage as the lorem ipsum. I will disclaimer that I do not have a thorough enough understanding of these languages to know truly what they are saying but I have not had issues to date using these in place of copy. Please message me if you have a more concrete implementation of lorem ipsum in these languages.
Chinese
Neutral modern Mandarin, often stating it is placeholder text.
