The piece explores the development of an original symbol — an iconic emblem intended to carry meaning and presence the way foundational symbols do across cultures and visual traditions. The form is symmetrical and architectural, built around a central ankh-like figure in warm gold with two almond shaped eye forms flanking a central pointed leaf above. Two large curved ivory forms sweep outward from the base on either side, their surfaces rendered with a soft gloss shading suggesting carved bone or polished stone. A small blue gem sits at the lower center of the central figure, the only cool accent in an otherwise warm palette of gold, ivory, and taupe.
