  • Featuring Jamie Wyeth's Ramps
  • Design by Alex Stevovich. Artwork by Jamie Wyeth

I designed a standalone advertisement for Adelson Galleries Boston, placed in MFA Guide in May 2014, promoting Recent Paintings by Jamie Wyeth and featuring Wyeth's Ramps, 2012.

Scope of Work

  • Design of a standalone advertisement for placement in MFA Guide.
  • Coordination with the publisher on placement and production specifications.
  • Image preparation for print use.

Advertisement Deliverables

A standalone advertisement was designed for placement in MFA Guide, distributed to the publication's readership in May 2014 ahead of the exhibition's opening. I coordinated with the publisher on placement and production specifications to ensure quality.

The layout is set on white, with the presenting line and exhibition title centered at the top in an italic serif, followed by the exhibition dates set in a smaller matching style. The painting is given the full width of the page beneath, with its caption set directly below in small italic type and gallery contact information placed at the foot of the page. The minimal structure gives the painting's composition and color room to breathe, letting the work carry the ad with little competing text.

Technical

I was responsible for image preparation, including color balance, cropping, isolation of artwork from backgrounds, and preparing files for print use.
