- Featuring Adrien Broom's Poisoned With Envy
- Design by Alex Stevovich. Artwork by Adrien Broom
I designed a promotional poster for display in the MTA Metro-North transit system, produced for Adrien Broom: Envy, an exhibition at Hudson River Museum, June 6 through September 27, 2015. The exhibition presented Adrien Broom's large-scale photographic recreations of classic fairy tales organized around the theme of envy, with each story presented as an immersive installation.
Scope of Work
- Design of promotional poster for the MTA Metro-North transit system.
- Coordination with the publisher on production specifications.
- Image preparation for print use.
Advertisement Deliverables
A promotional poster was designed for display in the MTA Metro-North transit system, part of an arrangement between Hudson River Museum and MTA offering a combined rail and museum discount package. The poster was seen by commuters throughout the system over the course of the exhibition's run.
The design drew on the visual identity established for the exhibition, applying its decorative modernist typographic style to the transit format. Given the setting, the layout was built for quick recognition at a glance, pairing imagery from Adrien Broom's photographic sets with the exhibition's title treatment and discount offer.
Technical
I was responsible for image preparation, including color balance, cropping, isolation of artwork from backgrounds, and preparing files for print use.
