I designed the exhibition catalogue for Andrew Stevovich: Familiar Faces, produced for Adelson Galleries to accompany a dual-venue exhibition of recent paintings and drawings. The design approach was guided by the quiet psychological narratives, distilled compositions, and precise formal language present in the work.

Because these scenes invite viewers to imagine their own stories, I adopted a minimal layout structure built around generous white space, full-bleed spreads, and understated captions. This allowed each image to stand on its own, with pacing that draws on the calm rhythm of fine-arts publishing while introducing a subtle cinematic flow suited to the figurative style.

Working within Adelson Galleries’ established visual standards, I paired a clean serif typographic system with a gloss glaze applied to all images to enhance color and surface nuance. The resulting catalogue presents the work with quiet strength and accessibility, supporting the contemplative engagement the paintings naturally encourage.
