I designed the exhibition catalogue for A Dark and Stormy Night: Gothic Influence in Contemporary Art, published by Lehman College Art Gallery in conjunction with the group exhibition on view October 28, 2017 through February 10, 2018.
The catalogue runs 106 pages and opens with a main essay accompanied by an image layout, followed by individual sections for each of the 35 participating artists, each containing an essay and reproductions of their work in the exhibition. The publication was also adapted to a digital edition for online display and distribution. The exhibition was curated by Bartholomew F. Bland, Executive Director of Lehman College Art Gallery.

Visual Identity
The visual identity for this catalogue was developed as part of the larger exhibition project. I was responsible for the complete design language of the exhibition — typographic system, color, graphic approach — and this extended fully into the catalogue, creating continuity across all materials produced for A Dark and Stormy Night: Gothic Influence in Contemporary Art.

The catalogue was designed to accommodate a complex multi-artist structure, with a repeating section format presenting each of 35 artists individually while maintaining a coherent visual language across 106 pages.

I was responsible for image preparation throughout, including color balance, cropping, isolation of artwork from backgrounds, and preparing files for both print and digital use.
