I developed the brand identity for Honeycomb, an entertainment development brand supporting production arts franchise work. The mark draws on the concept of an eight dimensional honeycomb lattice, a speculative theoretical model proposing the structure of reality as a layered hexagonal field, translated into a colorful and mysterious visual identity with an aesthetic nod to eastern entertainment companies.

Deliverables
A set of graphics were developed as an initial package of branding assets. All final artwork was produced as digital vector illustrations.

Six hexagonal cells arranged in a ring around a central negative space, each cell filled with a distinct color across a warm to cool spectrum, pink, orange, yellow, sky blue, magenta, and lavender. A soft diagonal highlight runs through each cell, giving the lattice a faceted, gemlike quality. The wordmark sits below in white, with the numeral 8 in bright pink.

A sinister recoloring of the mark, every cell and the wordmark rendered in a single saturated red against black, stripped of the gemlike shading and highlight detail. The lattice reads as flat and monolithic in this version, a more aggressive counterpart to the standard colorful identity.
