A kawaii illustration of an alarm clock character, produced as part of an ongoing practice study in kawaii character design, developed to build fluency in visual appeal languages in support of production art modeling and concept art work.

The clock is rendered in soft teal and pale blue tones with a bright yellow for the bells on top, its face lit in cream with numerals and hands in muted blue grey and coral pink. Its expression is closed eyed and content, with pink blush circles and a wide open smile. Small clawed feet and a tiny standing companion character sit at its base, grounding the piece with a cast shadow beneath. Thick confident line art gives the character a solid, plush quality.
A higher impact hero presentation was produced from a modified version of the illustration for use in certain contexts.
