I developed a set of technical illustrations for Universal Symbols, providing clear visual instructions for lipstick product usage.
Scope of Work
- Development of technical illustration style.
- Vector illustration of instructional panels.
- Photography of modeled hands for reference and reinterpretation into artwork.
Illustrations
Four sequential instructional panels were produced as vector illustrations, each designed to communicate product usage without reliance on text — clear, universal, and legible. The work balances the precision of technical line art with an appealing, warm color palette, keeping the illustrations approachable rather than clinical.
The hands were modeled and photographed as reference, then reinterpreted entirely into vector artwork — preserving naturalistic gesture and proportion while translating into the flat graphic style.
