I developed the brand identity for Transomnebulism, a creative design studio offering graphic, web, and advertising services. The identity was designed to establish a distinctive and memorable presence with a sense of craft and luxury.

Scope of Work

  • Development of visual identity and concept.
  • Design of wordmark.
  • Design of graphic logo mark.
  • Design of editorial drop cap set.
  • Production of vector artwork for final outputs.

Identity

The palette of deep forest green and warm gold gives the identity a richness that sits outside conventional studio branding. The aesthetic draws on Art Deco sensibility — ornamental, precise, and confident — rendered with enough restraint to feel contemporary rather than period. The name itself is invented, suggesting something between transcendence, somnambulism, and nebular vastness, and the visual language matches that register.

Deliverables

A set of graphics were developed as an initial package of branding assets. All final artwork was produced as digital vector illustrations.

Lettering

The wordmark sets TRANSOMNEBULISM in widely spaced uppercase letterforms, light in weight and warm gold on white. The tracking and scale give it a quiet monumentality — the kind of mark that occupies space without needing to shout.

A mandala composed of fine interlocking gold lines on deep green, built from overlapping petal and leaf forms radiating outward from a central circle containing the wordmark. The construction is dense and symmetrical, evoking celestial diagrams, botanical illustration, and decorative metalwork simultaneously. The overall effect is ornate without being busy — each layer of the composition resolves into the next.

Drop Caps

A set of decorative drop caps was developed for editorial use within the brand's web presence, extending the identity into typographic detail at the page level. The A, T, and W shown combine architectural serif structure with calligraphic swash elements and scrolled terminals, rendered in warm gold on black. Each letter is a standalone graphic object as much as a typographic character.
