I developed the website for Wood Creek Horses, an equestrian training and riding program. The platform established a clear online presence for the farm, presenting its operations, riders, and overall environment while supporting future growth into horse sales and events.
The site began as a streamlined e-business card presentation outlining the farm’s services and rider profiles. Over time, it expanded to include horse sales listings and event information.

Design Approach
The visual identity was adapted from the farm’s existing branding, with refinements made for digital presentation. Color, typography, and layout were adjusted to modernize the website while remaining aligned with the established style guide and overall character of the business.
The presentation emphasized clarity and authenticity, allowing equestrian photography and rider information to remain the primary focus.

A fully responsive layout was implemented to ensure consistent presentation across screen sizes.
Data Structure
Horses, riders, and events were structured within a simple data model to allow consistent presentation and straightforward updates. This approach supported both stable informational pages and expandable listings as the farm’s activities grew.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
Structured metadata, including Schema.org markup, was implemented across relevant page types. Semantic HTML, descriptive metadata, and logical pagination were used to support search indexing and discoverability. The site architecture supported both human navigation and search engine crawlability.
Accessibility
The site was developed with attention to accessibility standards. Clear semantic structure, descriptive image metadata, and consistent navigation patterns were prioritized to ensure ease of use across devices and assistive technologies.
Technical Approach
The site was built using PHP with server-rendered HTML, aligning with the operational needs of the farm at the time.
