Kingdom of Flowers is an ongoing creative initiative exploring the development of a cohesive fictional universe across multiple artistic disciplines. The project encompasses worldbuilding, narrative design, visual identity, character development, music, creative writing, and interactive entertainment, establishing a unified creative foundation that supports future works across a variety of media.
Rather than existing as a single product, Kingdom of Flowers serves as the creative framework from which individual games, stories, artworks, musical works, and related projects emerge. Alongside the development of the setting itself, the project explores the practical challenges of building and maintaining a long-term intellectual property, including creative direction, documentation, branding, production planning, and the evolution of a consistent artistic identity.
The project is being developed alongside Monarch, its first major interactive work, while laying the foundation for future releases within the same universe. Kingdom of Flowers is fundamentally a hands-on creative practice, requiring continuous work across software development, visual art, music, writing, production, and design rather than simply directing or assembling the work of others.
The breadth of the project has also made it a driving force behind many of my broader technical initiatives. The practical demands of developing an ambitious interactive property continue to shape the evolution of production tooling, animation systems, publishing workflows, web technologies, and real-time development infrastructure documented throughout this website, allowing each discipline to mature through practical application within a single long-term body of work.
